Author of the half term

Each half term we have been learning about a different author. We are really enjoying finding out lots of facts about these authors and they are inspiring us to do our own writing. These are the authors we are learning about this half term:

 Model Vehicles

Money Week

We all really enjoyed becoming shopkeepers during money week. Making the items to sell was so much fun. We tried really hard to add up totals and give change. Thank you so much to everyone who bought something from our shops.

Class 2 Red made a profit of £55.12 - They are giving some of their money to Sports Relief and buying things for the classroom with the rest.

Class 2 Blue made a profit of £58.03 - They decided to donate half of the profit to WaterAid and use half to buy books and games for the classroom.

The Olympic Torch!

It has been a very exciting day at Featherbank. We got to see an actual Olympic Torch and it was amazing. We couldn't believe how heavy it was! Thank you so much to Gareth and Neil for bringing it in and talking to us about it. We are all looking forward to the Olympics now!
