That Poetry Bloke!!

 

This week we welcomed Craig Bradley to Featherbank and enjoyed his exciting and entertaining way of reading and writing poetry.  He told us that words can "paint a little picture in your head" and that "if you want to be a writer, you need to be a reader". He also talked about the meaning of some of our names. Ask Daisy in Class 2 Blue where her name comes from!

Everyone in school worked with Craig during the day and then we all met in the hall to share more poems and songs before he signed some of his books in our new library. I think we all know now that poetry is most definitely not "pants"!!
