January so far..................
has been very busy. We have already done some excellent writing based on the story of 'The Three Little Pigs' and we were really impressed with your super ideas. We have made dictionaries all about different materials and in science we have been looking at how materials change. We did a fabulous investigation about how long we should cook bread for to make the PERFECT toast. Can you remember the result? We also helped Discovery Dog and Naughty Nora out by investigating where we should keep chocolate to make sure it doesn't melt. Can you tell your adults who Discovery Dog and Naughty Nora are?

Can you think of anything else we have done this half term?

Planning our chocolate investigation.

Which liquid will melt first?

How long will it take the ice balloon to melt?

The perfect slice of toast?

What have you enjoyed the most and why?

I'm not sure of the result, but I think it would be 3 minutes for the perfect piece of toast. 6 minutes looks too burnt for me.

I really enjoyed the pantomime because the funny man called Buttons shouted a little poem - "You don't touch the box. You leave the box alone!".

  4. I have enjoyed everything so far. I loved the Pantomime, especially the ponies and the growing spider called Webster. I told my family all about the toast and balloon experiments. They were very exciting.

  6. I liked how the teachers froze the food and made an ice balloon. I liked the pantomime. It was my favourite pantomime yet.

  7. Chocolate buttons on tongues - what a way to keep a whole class quiet! I was amazed how long some children made their chocolate button last!
