Today was our first day in Year 2. There were lots of new things to remember, different things to learn and try out, and lots of reasons to feel proud.

I am a very proud teacher today! You listened SO well all day and I could tell that you were all trying your very best. I hope you can keep that up because I like it! Tell me what has made YOU feel proud since you started in Year 2.

ReplyDeleteJoseph, I am so glad you enjoyed the hundred square! It's a really good way of understanding how numbers work and all the patterns there are within them. It will help you a lot when we do hundreds, tens and units. Thank you for being the very first person this year to comment!
